Maternity - Social Worker North Shore1.0 FTEChild Women and FamilyWaitemataWe are looking for a flexible Social Worker with a passion for the health of Wahine and Tamariki to join our team. The position has the opportunity to work across the service covering vacancies as they arise.
You would be part of a larger team of Social Workers working across the division of Child, Women and Family at Waitematā a providing services across both North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals. We provide services to inpatient wards, community hapu wahine, maternity, gynaecology, and Special Care Baby Units.
You will cover wahine having fetal loss and unplanned pregnancies. The role involves both community and ward based work as well as weekend on-call roster. You will ideally have experience working with women, children and their whānau.If you are self-motivated and enjoy working in a flexible and challenging environment then this may be the role for you.
