Job Role – Excavator Operator

Hours of Work: Minimum 120 hours per month(Monday to Saturday as required)
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
Start Date: Immediate

Success Building & Renovation Company Limited is an established construction company based in West Auckland. We deliver a wide range of residential and commercial projects, including site works, foundations, retaining walls, and landscaping.
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves carrying out earthworks and site preparation duties, including but not limited to:
Operating excavators and earthmoving machinery safely and efficientlyPerforming excavation works including trenching, site cuts, and drainage
Preparing sites for foundations, driveways, and retaining walls
Assisting with demolition and loading/unloading materials
Supporting general site operations including material handling
Conducting routine checks and maintenance of machinery
Ensuring compliance with all health & safety and environmental requirements
Minimum Requirements (Mandatory)
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following: At least 2 years of relevant work experience operating excavators or similar machinery
Good understanding of safe excavation practices and site safety standardsAbility to read plans and carry out accurate measurements and levels
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks where required
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (Not Essential)Class 4 Driver Licence (highly desirable)
Experience in construction, drainage, or landscaping works
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and site levels
Additional Information
This role is guaranteed a minimum of 120 hours per month
Work will be based in Auckland, with travel to nearby job sites
