Experienced Landscape Team Leader

Are you passionate about the outdoors and ready to lead a team in creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes across Christchurch? The Plant People Ltd is looking for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Team Leader to join our vibrant crew and help shape green spaces that make a difference.
- What You’ll Bring:
- At least 3 years’ experience in horticulture and landscaping
- At least 2 years’ experience running a team.
- The ability to read and interpret plans
- Proven experience leading small teams
- A full Class 1 NZ driver’s licence minimum Class 2 preferred. (Manual)
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence using mobile apps and reporting tools
- Able to produce clear daily/monthly reports so these are sent to the clients
- What You’ll Do:
- Mowing, edging, pruning, scrub clearing, and hedge trimming
- Manual and chemical weeding
- Pest and weed identification
- Garden enhancement: prepping, planting, mulching, staking
- Managing your own sites and a team of 2–3
- Being the go-to person for clients and resolving on-site issues
