About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi As a Senior Finance Operations Officer at ACC, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial activities. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, administering purchasing card programs, and overseeing reimbursements.
You'll perform daily bank reconciliations, maintain fixed asset records, and contribute to month-end and year-end reporting tasks. This role requires a good understanding of accounting principles, processes, and technology. Well-developed self-management skills are required as well as interpersonal skills.
As a Senior in the team, you'll take on responsibility for resolving complex financial issues and escalating them when necessary. You will identify and address system anomalies and errors, support process improvements, and ensure compliance with tax regulations and policies.
You'll support the Finance Operations Manager, and you'll have the opportunity to showcase your problem-solving and data analysis skills within the business to enhance financial practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Indicative base salary range for this role is $63,696 - $82,430 with appointment depending on skills and experience. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary. This is a Wellington based role. About you | Mōu We're looking for someone with a curious mindset and a solid understanding of accounting principles and finance operations.
You'll bring at least 2-3 years of experience in financials, have proven data analysis and problem-solving skills and bring the ability to coach and mentor others in the team. Experience from an environment where you have worked across multiple projects or systems at once would be helpful.
