Automotive Mechanic& Panel Beater

The busy workshop is looking for skilled and experienced automotive technicians on motor mechanic and penal beating services to join us.

The workshop is based in NorthShore, Auckland. You may, however, to be required to travel within Auckland region for emergency services, parts delivery, etc.

About the role:

• Permanent full-time employment
• Minimum of 30 hour per week guranteed
• Monday to Friday with weekend hours required (Monday to Friday: 9am to 5:30pm & Saturday: 9am to 1pm)
• Competitive remuneration $28.00 to $32.00 per hour depending on skills and experience

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage
• Use diagnostic tools and visual inspection to identify structural and cosmetic issues
• Applying various techniques to detect and dianose the faults and checking parts for reparing/repainting
• Performaing scheduled maintenance services to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pullition regulations
• Reassembiling parts when required
• Testing and adjusting parter to ensure proper performance
• Use of professional tools and materials for reparing & repainting
• Be responsible for customer services with profession

The successful applicant will need:

• Relevant and verfiable experience on motor mechanic with skills on penal beating
• Training awards/certificates are preferable, but not compulsor
• Good customer relation skills, remaining clam and controlled even when the pressure is on
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team
• Essential knowledge of health and safety and the hazards of operating in workshop
• Be fit and healthy and must be drug clean
• Positive can-do attitude
