About the Role
As Clinical Team Leader Treatment, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the treatment area, working in partnership with the Radiation Therapy Head, and the other four Clinical Team Leaders. This role offers a balance of leadership and hands-on clinical practice, with rostered time to ensure you maintain a clinical caseload.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-focused radiation therapy. You'll coordinate staff rosters, manage clinical incidents, support student learning, and oversee performance and development plans for your direct reports.You'll also help introduce new models of care, contribute to audits and research, and collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Radiation Oncology Nursing Team, and other members of the MDT.

Our Radiation Therapy team at Auckland City Hospital is part of Te Puriri o Te Ora Regional Cancer and Blood Service, serving the Northern Region. The team is operationally led by Clinical Team Leaders, supported by the Radiation Therapy Head and Radiation Therapy Professional Leader.We are a collaborative, patient-focused service committed to clinical excellence and innovation.

About You
You are a experienced Radiation Therapist with a strong clinical background and a desire to lead. You will have:
- Extensive experience in treatment delivery within radiation therapy
- Demonstrated leadership or team coordination experience
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Strong commitment to staff development and culturally responsive care
- Registration with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB) and a current APC
