SWP Maintain are looking for skilled Roofers and Carpenters to join our team of amazing people.
SWP is a robust company with a number of significant commercial projects lined up through the next two years. With this strong pipeline of work for clients throughout NZ, we need outstanding roofers and carpenters to join our great team. There are currently 10 positions available in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.
We are seeking experienced roofers or carpenters that are physically fit, motivated people who can be part of a team to successfully complete these projects on time & defect free. Punctuality, reliability, self-motivation, and organisation are highly valued personal attributes at SWP, where hard work and a good attitude are sought and rewarded.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or 3+ years of verifiable relevant work experience are required.
- Experience in Commercial Roof Overlays for commercial buildings, Specialist Coatings and Car Park Coatings.
- Proficiency in applying specialist coatings designed to protect tenanted or habited areas below from water ingress.
- Proven experience in commercial roofing projects, with a strong understanding of installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems.
- Application of a range of coating systems, including liquid-applied membranes and concrete sealers, to ensure the protection and preservation of building surfaces.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety rules and adherence to workplace health and safety guidelines, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including working at heights and lifting heavy materials as required.

What we offer:- Hourly rate for this job starts at $30 per hour (will be up to $35 for experienced/skilled workers)
- Job is full time, we offer 44 hours per week
- We have positions available in - Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch
