We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Junior Sheetmetal Worker to join a respected roofing and construction team in Wellington. If you’re eager to learn, have a keen eye for detail, and are ready to start your career in Sheetmetal work – we want to hear from you!
- About the Role:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of underlayment materials (felt, membranes, synthetic sheets)
- Help cut, shape, and install corrugated and flat metal sheets (steel, copper, aluminum)
- Support the fitting of flashings around roof penetrations and intersections
- Aid in the installation of gutters and downspouts
- Participate in regular maintenance and inspections
- Follow all safety and manufacturer installation requirements
- What You’ll Bring:
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the sheetmetal trade
- Basic experience with hand and power tools (training provided for specialized skills)
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions
