We're seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters / Engineers who are ready to take their career to the next level across Kilcoy's world-class Australian facilities. they will play a vital role in ensuring the outgoing performance and reliability of the plant operations.

About the role:In this hands-on position, you'll be responsible for delivering both reactive and preventative maintenance across the facility to reduce downtime and optimise the performance of mechanical assets. You'll work closely with engineering and production teams to support safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations.
- Provide timely reactive and preventative maintenance support to minimise lost production time
- Ensure optimal utilisation of current and future mechanical assets
- Comply with all relevant workplace health & safety regulations, quality standards, and legislative requirements
- Maintain a solid understanding of relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Complete maintenance tasks efficiently, with a focus on budget, utility, and consumable efficiency
- Support Engineering and Production Managers/Supervisors in making informed decisions around equipment shutdowns, based on risk management principles
In an ideal world, the perfect person will:
- Have working rights in Australia already. We will not be looking to sponsor anybody for this role.
- Trade-qualified maintenance or mechanical engineering background
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or processing environment (meat or FMCG preferred)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Solid understanding of compliance, SOPs, and plant safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexible approach with a can-do attitude
