Key Responsibilities
- Support daily site operations, including concrete work, steel fixing, formwork, and finishing.
- Enable to provide current training certificates for both telehandlers and forklifts. This is mandatory for this role.
- Assist with procurement, site prep, and materials handling.
- Assist with material deliveries to/from sites occasionally.
- Maintain compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and site-specific safety plans.
- Contribute to a positive, solution-focused team environment.
- Not an entry-level role.
- Work extended hours when projects demand, including weekends and public holiday periods if required.
- Proven construction or civil site experience (2 + years preferred).
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to meet deadlines.
- Physically fit and a 'Safety First' mindset.
- Clear communicator with a professional, can-do attitude.
- Able to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team.
- Pre-employment drug testing.
- A medical certificate from your GP confirming you are fit for heavy labouring duties. The role involves regular lifting and working on stairwells, so a high level of physical fitness and strength is required to perform the job safely and comfortably.
- Class 5 Heavy Vehicle License or equivalent.
- Telehandler and/or Forklift Operator Certification (F04/A).
- Familiarity with quality control.
- Full driver’s license and own car for getting to/from sites.
- Current Site Safe or ConstructSafe certificate.
- We have several projects open through the Christmas/ New Year period, the candidate must be available to work through this time (excluding Stat days).
- Must be available for extended work hours (typically 44–50 per week) and occasional Saturday work.
- Market-related hourly rate (based on experience).
- Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) support for eligible applicants.
