Bar Duty Managers - 1 Nos.

Bar Management & Service: Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

Develop and maintain a high-quality cocktail menu, including signature drinks
Manage stock control, ordering, and rotation for the bar
Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing at all times.

Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including classic and contemporary cocktails, beers, and a curated selection of wines.

Essential Requirements Duty Manager: Must have a right to work in New Zealand.

A current and valid General Manager's Certificate (or LCQ) is essential or should have the skills and capability to get one.

Experience and Skills Needed: Proven experience (2+ years) as a Bar Manager, Duty Manager, or Senior Bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar.

Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a small team.
Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine. An interest in creating cocktails that pair with Indian food is a huge plus.
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Chef- 1 Nos.

Cook - 2 Nos.

Responsibilities & Duties: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as an Indian Chef, specifically specialising in curries and Tandoori cooking.

Prepare a wide variety of authentic Indian curries (e.g., Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh, Saag Paneer, Vindaloo, Korma) from scratch.
Expertly manage the Tandoor oven to prepare naans, kebabs, tandoori chicken, fish, and other breads.
Prepare fresh spice blends and pastes daily.
Manage food inventory, including ordering and stock rotation.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standard of hygiene and safety (as per NZ Food Safety regulations).
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen workstation.
Contribute to menu development and introduce new, innovative dishes.

A relevant culinary qualification (e.g., Chef's Certificate, Diploma in Cookery) is preferable for Chef but not mandatory.

A current New Zealand Food Safety Certificate (or the willingness to obtain one immediately)
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Consistently meet service speed and quality standards during busy periods.
Only apply if you can work late hours (as our bar closes at midnight)/weekends.

Must have their own conveyance as we are located on the outskirts of the town.
