Patient Scheduling Administrator: Whanganui Hospital: Permanent, Part-time Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleThe key purpose of the role is to manage and book patients from waiting lists effectively and within the required timeframes and clinical priority, while ensuring the needs of the organisation, patients and clinicians are met professionally and effectively.You will join a team of 25 dedicated specialty administrators and work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.

Accurate and efficient data entry is essential, along with a methodical and structured approach to your working style. Previous employment history of excellent customer service with ability to build strong working relationships. Working autonomously but also well in a team environment, you will also need to have a creative approach to problem solving, ability to learn quickly and a good understanding of the importance of teamwork.
