About the Role

The Junior Project Manager is a key role within the Planning Performance Team, responsible for delivering small to medium-sized projects (typically 36 months) that support service improvement, operational change, or digital implementation. You will lead end-to-end project planning, stakeholder engagement, and reporting with minimal supervision.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

Essential:

Relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification and/or equivalent work experience
Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
Proven project management experience
In-depth knowledge of management disciplines and the New Zealand health system

Strong organisational skills, proactive approach, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Desired:

Project management qualification or equivalent work experience
Experience in health service development and delivery in New Zealand

Capacity planning experience

You will be able to:

Apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way
Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Take ownership of projects and deliver results

Demonstrate self-awareness, integrity, and professional behaviour
