Electrical Service Technician - Auckland

LKK Food Equipment Ltd has been established for over 20 years in Auckland, New Zealand. We supply a wide range of commercial kitchen and catering equipment to restaurants, hotels, and food businesses nationwide. Our services include equipment installation, repair, and technical support.

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our team.

• Installing and servicing a range of commercial kitchen appliances including ovens, fryers, refrigeration units, dishwashers, and steamers.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic faults in commercial catering equipment.
• Replacing and testing components such as circuit boards, motors, thermostats, switches, relays, and wiring (non-fixed wiring).
• Conducting scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and performance testing of appliances.
• Preparing accurate service reports, part usage records, and repair documentation.
• Providing professional on-site technical support and customer service.

• At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in servicing and repairing electrical or electronic appliances, ideally in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using standard electrical test tools.
• Understanding of electrical safety practices and standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service jobs.
• An NZ Electrical Appliance Service person Licence is preferred, but not mandatory if the applicant has demonstrable relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin or Cantonese is highly desirable.
