Are you passionate about working with young children and looking for a flexible, rewarding role? BestStart is on the lookout for enthusiastic Reliever Caregivers to support our wonderful centres across Dunedin and Mosgiel.
Relievers play a crucial part in our teams, helping to create safe, nurturing, and inspiring environments where tamariki can learn, grow, and thrive. With five well-established centres across Dunedin, including two Montessori-based centres. We offer a rich variety of learning experiences and environments.
What you'll be doing:
As a Reliever Caregiver at BestStart, no two days are the same. You'll have the opportunity to work across different centres, supporting our dedicated teaching teams in delivering high-quality care and education. You'll:
- Work alongside permanent teachers to support daily routines and learning activities
- Build warm, responsive relationships with tamariki
- Provide nurturing care and help create a positive, fun-filled environment
- Use your initiative to contribute meaningfully to each centre you work in
What we're looking for:
- A genuine love for working with children
- Someone reliable, adaptable, and full of energy
- A warm, caring nature with a respectful and inclusive approach
- The ability to quickly connect with new teams and settle into different environments
No ECE qualifications are required, this is a great opportunity for anyone interested in gaining experience or exploring a career in early childhood education.
