At Waipuna Hospice our goal is to deliver a responsive, compassionate, and person-centred care to individuals living with life-limiting illnesses, which is often in their homes. We also have a welcoming inpatient unit in Te Puna for those who need extra support.

About The Job

We’re looking for a Casual Storeperson/Driver to join our hardworking team at our depot sites in Fraser Cove, Mount and Papamoa. Flexibility to work across all sites is preferred. Our depots are the central hub for accepting and sorting donated goods before they’re distributed to our shops.Some of your days maybe working inwards goods sorting donations and other days you may be out in our van collecting and delivering larger items like furniture.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Full NZ driver’s licence and experience driving and manoeuvring a large manual van
- Flexibility to work all shifts including Saturdays and Sundays across all locations
- Goods inwards /stores experience
- High level of physical fitness and capable of safe heavy lifting
- Goods and manual handling experience
- Great customer service and communication skills
- A caring, sensitive manner when dealing with people from all walks of life
- Good problem solving and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, can-do attitude that thrives on contributing as a team player
