Looking for steady, long-term work in Christchurch's civil construction sector? We’re seeking an experienced Class 4 Truck Driver with Road Ranger experience to join a hardworking crew on varied civil sites across the city. If you’re ready to get stuck in and help the team beyond the wheel, this role is for you.

Pay rate: $28–32 per hour (paid weekly, experience dependent)

About the role: You’ll be a key part of a civil construction team working on projects such as subdivisions, drainage, roadworks, and general site development. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be expected to labour as well as drive.

Your duties will include:

• Operating Class 4 trucks (Road Ranger gearbox) for carting aggregate, spoil, and materials
• Tipping, loading, and manoeuvring safely on active civil sites
• Performing daily vehicle checks and maintaining a clean, safe truck
• Assisting with labouring duties such as digging, spotting, and general site work
• Following health & safety procedures and working as part of a crew

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Minimum 3 years’ Class 4 experience in the civil industry
• Proven experience using a Road Ranger gearbox
• Current Class 4 licence and reliable transport
• Physically fit and happy to labour as needed
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and safety focus
