About the role

Flexible hours to suit your needs.

As a Health Care Assistant, your day begins with a handover from the outgoing team. You will give a warm welcome to patients, making them feel comfortable and supported. You'll assist with personal cares, bathing, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the shift.

You'll work closely with the nursing team, monitoring patient conditions, and giving feedback to the primary nurse. You'll provide emotional support to patients and families, creating a compassionate and positive environment.

About you
  • Level 3 Health and Wellbeing qualification or equivalent
  • Hold a current work visa or have the legal right to work in New Zealand
  • 12 months experience as an HCA
