The role will include, but not limited to:

• Independently prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring consistency in quality, portion, and presentation.
• Uphold high food standards by maintaining the freshness, taste, and visual appeal of all dishes.
• Adhere strictly to hygiene and food safety regulations, maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen environment.
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock appropriately, and report shortages to management in a timely manner.
• Contribute to menu development by suggesting new items and assisting in the testing of recipes.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication and timely service delivery.
• Effectively manage kitchen workflow during busy periods to ensure all orders are delivered promptly.
• Apply portion control and waste reduction strategies to support cost-effective kitchen operations.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Support and guide junior kitchen staff when needed to ensure a cohesive and efficient kitchen team

Job pre-requisites:

• At least 2 years of cooking experience
• Relevant cookery qualifications are preferable but not a must
• Excellent communication skills
• The successful candidate must not have any criminal convictions

• Job Salary : $26.00 - 28.00
• Working hours： 30 - 40 hours per week
• Location: Auckland Region
