Casual Café & Catering Assistant (Temp/Contract)

Parnell, Auckland

We’re looking for a dependable and motivated all-rounder to join our growing café and catering business. This is a casual role to start, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in their work.

• Casual, as required
• Typically 9:00am – 12:00/1:00pm
• Opportunity for increased hours over time

• This is a hands-on role supporting both our café and catering operations. You’ll be involved in:
• Serving customers and providing friendly front-of-house service
• Heating and presenting cabinet food
• Keeping the café clean, organized, and well presented
• Washing dishes and assisting with basic kitchen duties
• Supporting catering prep when required
• Completing occasional deliveries using the company vehicle

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Friendly and confident dealing with customers
• Able to work independently and use initiative
• Physically fit (some lifting involved)
• Full driver’s license (required for deliveries)
• Previous café or kitchen experience is a bonus but training will be provided for the right candidate
