Parts Technician/Sales Assistant

We are looking for a Part’s technician to support the smooth operation of a parts department by performing various tasks related to inventory management, customer service, and order fulfilment. Mechanical knowledge is preferable.
As a part’s technician you will be required to help with stock control, processing orders, assisting customers with inquiries, identify the correct parts needed, and provide information about parts availability and usage, process customer orders, verify part requirements, and ensure timely delivery.

You will also be required to perform stocktake, identify potential shortages, and initiate reorders when necessary.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Technical aptitude: Understanding of small motors and systems is helpful.
  • Weekend availability: you will be required to work rotating weekends.
  • Organizational skills: Essential for managing inventory and maintaining records.
  • Attention to detail: Important for verifying parts and ensuring accuracy.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to parts availability or orders.
  • Computer skills: Experience with inventory management software and other computer systems.
