IRATA Rope Access Technicians – Fixed-Term
The role involves a variety of structural maintenance and concrete repair projects across commercial property, including specialist work on wind farm infrastructure and port crane systems. Typical tasks may include preparing and applying protective coatings, completing concrete crack repairs, installing anchors and rigging systems, conducting inspections at height, and assisting with blade or cladding repairs in remote or elevated environments.
This role is ideal for technicians with rope access experience or trade skills who enjoy working in a team environment and delivering high-quality outcomes in challenging work-at-height settings. You will be employed for a fixed-term of 6 months, working full-time (minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed), with a pay range of $30.00 – $45.00 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
Highline operate NZ-wide across key infrastructure, renewable energy, and commercial sectors, so travel to project sites in other regions may be required from time to time. We’re committed to delivering safe, efficient, and innovative access solutions.
Qualifications:- 3+ years’ relevant experience in rope access or a related trade
- IRATA certification, preferred (Level 1, 2, or 3)
- GWO certification or AMPP Coating Inspector qualification (advantageous)
- Full, clean driver’s licence
- Protective coatings and corrosion remediation
- Structural and concrete repairs
- Glazing, roofing, carpentry, or other building envelope experience
- Wind turbine maintenance and composite blade repairs
