Vet Nurse Position – Full-Time/ Part-Time

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective support to vets in all aspects of vet nursing, including animal
- Anaesthetisation and intubation.
- Coordinating daily surgical schedules: order of surgery, when to pre-med patients and having them prepped on the table, ready for the vet, ahead of time.
- Monitoring anaesthetics.
- Prioritising patient care and detecting critical care patient needs!
- Patient advocacy! Using your nursing expertise to advocate for our patients and ensure top-quality care.
- Maintaining a consistently high level of organisation and cleanliness.
- Address client inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Qualification: minimum NZ Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent international qualification).
- Experience: Preferable 2 years clinical experience
- Tech Skills: excellent general computer literacy. A working knowledge of Ezyvet is an advantage but not essential.
- Team Player: Ability to work comfortably within our team, must be positive, dedicated and easy-going.
- People Skills: excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Compassion: a genuine love for animals and this work!
- Availability: Full-Time or Part- Time work
- Reliability: you must be committed and reliable to your role and your shifts.
