Plant Operator-32 Tonne Compactor

We are after an experienced and reliable 32 tonne sheepsfoot compactor operator to join our team working on a civil earthworks project in Beachlands.
This role will primarily involve compaction of clay materials, requiring a high level of skill and attention to detail to meet engineering and site specifications. Hours are Mon-Fri 7am-6pm and Sat 7am-2pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a 32 tonne sheepsfoot compactor safely and efficientlyPerform compaction of clay in line with project requirements and density specifications
Carry out daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance of machinery
Work closely with site supervisors and ground crew to achieve project targets
Maintain a high standard of health and safety on site
Adapt to varying ground conditions and project demands
Requirements:
Proven experience operating sheepsfoot compactors (32 tonne preferred)Strong background working with clay and understanding compaction techniques
Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions
Good communication skills and team-focused attitude
Reliable transport to and from site
Commitment to workplace health and safety
