Hourly rate : $ 23.50– 30.00/hr depending on experience

Job description (Assistant Manager) :

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the pizza restaurant, including staff management, stock taking, ordering, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food handling procedures.
  • Keep the restaurant audit ready - Lead by example and uphold high standards of product quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient kitchen operations, accurate order preparation, and timely deliveries.
  • Train and mentor staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock management.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing marketing and promotional initiatives to drive sales growth.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting.

Job pre-requisites:

  • Must be well trained in all restaurant stations.
  • Atleast 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the Pizza/hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide team members.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering results.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with basic financial and inventory management concepts.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Food Safety Certification is a plus.
