Interior Designer
Noir is a boutique interior design studio based in Dunedin, creating thoughtful residential renovations and select commercial interiors across Otago. We specialise in heritage meets modern design, moody luxe palettes, and highly resolved custom joinery.Every project is about elevating spaces with detail, atmosphere, and precision. We’re growing and we’d love for you to grow with us.
What you’ll be doing:
Own projects from concept to completion: mood boards, finishes, paint schedules, FF&E, joinery packsTake site measures and coordinate with suppliers & trades, deliver clear and accurate documentation, plans, elevations, details, specs and schedules.
Build and present beautiful client decks, material samples, and procurement support
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of detailing & joinery
- Confident communicator with clients and contractors
- Current driver licence
- Portfolio showcasing interior renders (kitchen & bathroom joinery experience a plus)
- Solid software skills (tell us what you use!)
The Details:
- Casual/contract or part-time (path to permanent for the right person)
- Location: Dunedin (hybrid/flexible once up to speed)
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience (tell us your expectations)
- Must have the right to work in NZ

- FF&E / Styling (procurement, install days, photo styling)

- Window Treatments (curtains/blinds/shutters)
- Colour & Materials Consulting (paint, flooring, stone, tiles)
