Plumber/ Pipe Fitters - Bay of Plenty

Kirimana Consultants is seeking experienced Plumber/Pipe Fitters to join our team across a variety of exciting projects in Bay of Plenty.

We are ready to employ several Plumber / Pipe fitters to work alongside our experienced tradesmen. These roles require reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious individuals. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include:

  • Read drawings, planning pipe systems and ducting systems
  • Install, maintain, and repair piping, ducting, and equipment for heating, cooling, and ventilation of buildings or vessels
  • Measure, cut, and shape pipes
  • Install, join, and seal pipes and fittings
  • Install and maintain chilled and hot water pipes for refrigeration and heating systems such as tanks, central heating, gas heaters, air conditioning units, and associated parts
  • Mount pipe and ducting hangers and brackets on walls and ceilings
  • Fabricate and install metal duct
  • Basic welding and brazing of pipe
  • Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations

We expect you to take pride in your work, pay attention to detail, and complete tasks to a high standard within required timeframes. You'll be expected to communicate clearly with your supervisor, take responsibility for your duties, and work well as part of a team.

Minimum Experience Required:

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a plumber or pipe fitters or hold a trade qualification or higher. You must be able to provide references to verify this experience.

Pay & Conditions:

  • Hourly rate: $27 - $40 (waged)
  • Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 55 hours depending on project requirements
  • Work days: Monday to Saturday
  • Locations: Roles available across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Manawatu/Horowhenua, Canterbury, Otago and Southland

For those willing to travel between regions, accommodation and other allowances will be provided.
