Tow Truck Driver
We are a South Auckland Based family owned 24/7 operating Towing Company who are looking for a tow truck driver.
We specialise in lowered vehicles ,vehicle relocation from A to B , accidents, breakdowns which includes luxury /sports /racing vehicles and anything up to 5 tonne which includes vehicle’s/truck's/ machinery.
Ideal candidate will need to be physically fit .- Full NZ clean class 2 drivers license
- Full NZ clean class 4 drivers license
- V Endorsement
- Must be able to pass a police check with clean driving record
- Able to fill truck with correct fuel , oil and water
- Able to keep truck clean and presentable
- Able to communicate with customers in a professional manner as our customers may need to give you verbal instructions relating to the job.
- Full understanding and abides by the New Zealand road rules.
- Able to physically load and unload vehicles (Automatic/Manual/Electric )in a safe manner using a winch and strops.
- Able to complete logbook , pre check, Tow Authority and Car Removal book efficiently.
It would be an advantage if the candidate has truck mechanical skills it could be adjacent skills as they may need to repair the truck in case of a breakdown whilst on the job.
Out of town deliveries will be required ; delivering from auckland to areas for example Bay of Plenty , Northland , Waikato , Taranaki , Napier/ Hastings or from these areas to Auckland.
Overnight stay may be required if working hours have been exceeded or may exceed.
Accomodation for overnight stay will be made by company.
Overtime and public holidays work may be required.
After hour call outs maybe be required, if the candidate lives close to Otahuhu that would be an advantage so they can attend the job as soon as possible .

We offer:
- Rate $24.00 (gross) an hour ; Weekly Pay.
- Work days : Monday - Saturday.
- Full time hours : 8am-7pm.
- Minimum guaranteed hours : 40 hours per week.

- NZ Class 1 Full License Clean
- NZ Class 2 Full License Clean
- NZ Class 4 Full License Clean
- V Endorsement
