We're looking for a high-calibre contractor for a 12m contract opportunity, to help deliver a significant programme focused on long-term social improvement and social change / impact.
The Opportunity:
The programme is based on the learnings of an earlier pilot and will include significant wide community engagement. This is an opportunity to lead the next phase of a structured, values-based programme designed to support complex needs.
Your work will directly contribute to an important initiative that will create meaningful pathways for people and families. This programme requires a deeply diplomatic, composed and outcomes driven professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a robust project management plan and implementation roadmap
- Coordinate external funding access and drawdowns
- Lead a collaborative co-design process with diverse stakeholders
- Oversee the development of a full Implementation Business Case
- Provide effective leadership and coordination across internal teams, governance groups, and external evaluators
- Ensure delivery of clear, concise project documentation and reporting
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in leading projects in complex, multi-layered organisations (e.g., public sector, social impact or values-driven programmes)
- Previous experience co-designing and working in partnership with community groups and social agencies
- Exceptional EQ - you are calm under pressure, diplomatic, and able to navigate different stakeholder groups and viewpoints
- Previous work in roles requiring structure, order, resilience, such as social agencies that have a community facing responsibility—often found in emergency response, defence or regulated public service environments.
- A natural collaborator who is also decisive, focused, and can provide clarity and structure in a rapidly evolving context
- Strong change and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
