Washroom/Dishroom Team Member (Food Manufacturing)
Starting rate: $24.50 per hour • Mon–Fri • Training provided • Progression pathway
Help keep our food production running smoothly by owning the washroom/dishroom and hygiene standards.
What you’ll do:
Collect used items from factory rooms; pre-clean (scrape/soak), organise, wash, sanitise, stack, dry, and distribute back to production areas.
Keep the washroom spotless and audit-ready at all times.
Test and record the concentration of washroom chemicals (full training provided) and follow safe handling procedures.
Scrub floors using a walk-behind floor scrubber; remove rubbish and restock supplies as needed.
Complete checklists and communicate any issues promptly.
What you’ll bring:
Physically fit, able to stand for the full shift and work in a warm/noisy environment.
Excellent hygiene for working around food; strong attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and safe—able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to lift up to 20kg.
Own transport required.
Hours & employment details
Monday to Friday. Hours can be flexible; we’re currently seeking availability between 10:00am and 5:00pm but can discuss - include your availability in your Cover Letter.
Minimum 25 hours per week this year, moving to full time (35–40 hours/week) next year after the Christmas shut down.
Full training provided. Role is subject to a 90-day trial as set out in the employment agreement.
