Role:
These guys are a leading multi-service provider who have been around for over 80 years, and they have created a strong foundation to give their drainage division a flying start. The current drainage team is five strong, with big growth plans for the year ahead.They have a mix of commercial and civil projects around the region locked in, and they have the right people in the right seats to ensure they continue on their upwards trajectory.
The team is now on the lookout for their next registered or certifying Foreman drainlayer. You will be competent and capable laying pipe, a natural leader, and if you're CCC authorised that's a huge bonus! (However this outfit is happy to help you get your CCC).This role would suit a final year apprentice, or a newly qualified drainlayer, who is ready to step up, continue learning, and start leading a team. Running anything from a 1.7T through to 20T, you will also be a sharp operator who is confident digging in and around services.
If you have your plumbing or gas fitting ticket, or are working towards it, this company covers all facets of the PGD industry and is happy to have you dip your toes in other divisions - training and development is actively encouraged and provided.Culture fit is huge for this young and energetic crew, so it's important you're a legend who is keen to get involved in their successful social club!
What we are looking for:
- A skilled drainlayer with experience in civil & commercial drainage
- Current practicing license with the PGDB (Registered or Certifying)
- Ideally authorised with CCC & have a good understanding of CCC standards and specifications
- Ability to read/follow plans & instructions as well as liaise with managers & clients
- Someone who has experience leading a crew, or believes that this would be the next step in their career
- Sharp operating experience, specifically working in and around services
