We’re on the hunt for a passionate, hands-on Bar Manager / Mixologist & Duty Manager who is ready to lead from the front, set the mood, and inspire both guests and team alike.

What You’ll Do

Craft Extraordinary Drinks:

Curate an innovative beverage menu featuring signature Brazilian cocktails, creative New Zealand-inspired concoctions, NZ wines, and craft spirits. Your blend of mixology artistry and deep beverage knowledge will elevate every guest experience.

Lead by Example:

Be the heartbeat of our bar by motivating your team—mentoring junior staff, supporting continuous development, and ensuring every shift radiates energy and creativity.

Drive Operational Excellence:

Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, cost control, cash handling, and bar floor coordination during busy periods. You’ll ensure our service is efficient and the atmosphere is always inviting.

Uphold Standards & Compliance:

Ensure full adherence to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and all liquor license conditions. Guide staff on responsible service, manage patron conduct, and resolve customer queries or issues promptly and professionally.

Collaborate Creatively:

Work closely with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager to harmonize food and drink offerings—creating a seamless culinary experience that turns first-timers into regulars.
Who You Are

Passionate & Experienced:

With a minimum of 2 years in bar leadership and cocktail development, you’re a seasoned mixologist who lives and breathes great service and creativity.

A Natural Leader:

You thrive in fast-paced, people-first environments—using your strong communication skills, team-building prowess, and detail-driven approach to inspire and guide your crew.

Legally Compliant & Certified:

You hold a current LCQ (or GM Certificate) and Duty Manager’s Certificate, ensuring you can manage all legal and operational aspects of the role.

Adaptable & Energetic:

Your flexible, “can-do” attitude helps you navigate peak times with calm problem-solving and unwavering enthusiasm.

Local Talent:

You are a New Zealand resident or citizen (please note, applications requiring sponsorship cannot be accepted).
