Casual Mover/Packer Christchurch

Summary: This position is responsible for the packing, unpacking and moving of household goods for clients.

• First aid training provided
• Pathways available into permanent as well as management positions

• Pack and unpack items in an organized and efficient manner.
• Lift, carry, and load furniture into trucks / vans for transport to and from client locations, including up and down stairs.
• Deliver and set-up furniture and effects inside client homes, as required/requested within committed time frames.
• Demonstrate the ability to protect all client furniture from damage through established best practices.
• Cleaning duties maybe required at times in line with company polices and task completion.
• Complete tasks as directed by the SMM manager.

• Physical ability to frequently lift and/or move items on a regular basis and operate moving equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and/or with a team, exercise good judgment, and sound decision-making required.
