Cadet livestock truck driver
Selwyn
We are currently seeking to employ an enthusiastic driver to train as a livestock truck driver.
You would need to hold a class 2 licence as a minimum and be able to work with all classes of cattle and sheep.
You would be expected to take charge and be accountable for the overall care of your vehicle and efficient and careful loading and unloading of livestock.
Applicants should also possess the following:
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required
- A positive attitude
- The ability to work unsupervised/and as part of a team
- As this is a trainee position all applicants will be expected to progress to class 5 level
- High degree of respect for the equipment they are in control of
