The team's focus is to lead advice on health system investment priorities, with a focus on value for money and delivering equitable health outcomes.
This will be an opportunity to help influence investment decisions through the annual Budget process and examine some of the more fundamental funding settings that drive expenditure in health.

- What you'll do Joining the in the Strategy Group, you will have a part in influencing the strategic direction for the health system to improve New Zealand's health outcomes.
We provide high quality policy advice to the Ministers and government to inform the decisions they make on the health portfolio at a system level.

- What you'll bring Strong experience in NZ public finance systems/budget process; in policy, government processes; and political structuresHighly developed written and oral skills, numerically proficient, with high skill level in Excel and similar tools.Commitment to delivering high-quality services and outcomes with a collaborative approachProven stakeholder engagement and able to build effective relationships across diverse teamsAn understanding of infrastructure investment and/or experience in business cases for public sector investment would be an advantage Ngā hua o tō mātou whare
