Shop assistant- Bakery - Hastings
We are looking for two friendly part time shop assistant to join our team.
The Baker Boy is a bakery located in Waipukurau, open 6 days a week Monday to Saturday.
The majority of our trade is takeaway orders needing a fast turnaround of food and coffee therefore a candidate with quick thinking & cooperation with others is a must. We have a very loyal regular customer base therefore someone with a memory for faces and names would be ideal to continue the level of service we currently provide.
To be a successful candidate for this role you must have:- Excellent customer service skills
- Great communication skills and being able to talk to customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to work well as a team member
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Initiative to find work to do in down time without being told, (clearing tables, sweeping floors etc)
- Barista experience & handling food experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Two part time positions available: Monday - Friday 11:30am -3:00pm
Monday - Friday 4:45am- 6:45am
The successful candidates will need to be flexible and able to pick up shifts when needed.
