**He angitutanga / The opportunity:**

This role involves delivering a high standard of customer service and ensuring that our engaging service culture is translated effectively to a high-performing team, catering to all customer F&B needs at the highest levels attainable.

We have fully flexible hours and a rostered across 7 days a week (as per business requirements).

• Deliver professional customer service with a warm, friendly, and welcoming style.
• Maintain clean and tidy dining/kitchen areas, including cleaning tables, sweeping, mopping floors, and handling waste.
• Supervise, train, and coordinate staff, modeling high standards of performance and behavior.
• Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating for service.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service responsibilities, assisting customers to drink within appropriate limits and managing alcohol-affected customers.

• In-depth understanding of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment principles.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a budget.
• Proven experience in managing successful teams and forming productive relationships with clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Working knowledge of workplace regulations, including agreement requirements.
• NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) and experience in contract management are desirable.
