Pay range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime
Hours: Guaranteed 40+ hours per week (standard hours 7:00am - 4:30pm)

The Role:We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with a background in rigging and welding to join our expanding team. You will play a key role in managing structural steel projects from site setup through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and timelines are met.
This position offers the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects and be the main point of contact during the installation phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical and layout drawings.
- Erect structural steel and metalwork on a range of construction sites.
- Organise transport and craneage for site operations.
- Manage and record site variations.
- Complete health and safety documentation and ensure compliance.
- Organise and supervise staff on site.
- Undertake fabrication and welding tasks when required.
- Act as the primary client contact during installation.
- Ensure company methodology is followed by staff and subcontractors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
About You:
- Proven experience in structural steel erection.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and plan work sequences.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Rigging and slinging experience.
- NZ Driver's Licence (level 2 endorsement preferred)
- IT literate.
Preferred but not essential:
- Knowledge of engineering standards (AS/NZS 1554.1, AS/NZS 5131, ISO 9606).
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Forklift, EWP, and height training qualifications.
- Current Site Safe Passport.
- Energetic, proactive, and quick-thinking approach.
