Peard Excavation Ltd is a fast-growing earthworks business based in Tauranga, and we’re looking for a motivated, reliable Truck Driver / Entry-Level Operator to join our team. Whether you’re starting out or bringing a few years of experience, this is an opportunity to grow, take ownership, and be part of something bigger.

• What You’ll Be Doing:
• Operating trucks and machinery (excavators, rollers, etc.) as needed
• Safely loading 5T excavators onto 6-wheeler trucks
• Transporting materials between sites efficiently
• Assisting with general labouring—shovels, rakes, and physical site work
• Completing daily pre-starts and maintenance checks via SiteApp Pro
• Entering accurate time logs, load details, and breakdowns into Simpro throughout the day
• Collaborating with supervisors to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

• What We’re Looking For:
• Full NZ Class 4 driver’s licence (or working towards it)
• WTR endorsements (or willing to obtain)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills—calm, clear, and assertive

• A practical, positive team player who brings solutions and good energy
• Physically fit and capable of hands-on work
