Logistics Coordinator

• Starting pay rate is $31.25 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory control - Coordinate inventory management, responsible for stock transactions for stock locations including picking, transfer, returns, put aways. Regular cycle counting, FIFO stock rotation, transaction investigations and resolve issues.
• Storage Planning - Maintain weekly scheduling plan, including completing inventory transfers in the system.
• Pallet Control - Data entry daily, assisting Logistics Manager with weekly pallet reconciliations and weekly pallet stock take counts.
• Warehouse duties - Maintaining tidiness in coolstore and warehouse areas and assist team by loading/unloading pallets from trucks and containers when required
• Back up to Logistics Team - Providing leave cover for other team members as required – training provided.

The successful applicants should have:

• Computer literacy - experience with spreadsheet and word doc
• Experience in data management, cycle counts, receipting, purchase orders, location management and inventory checks
• Experience with WMS systems preferably NAV, SAV or Multipick.
• Previous experience working in the GMP environment as well as having a good understanding of HACCP processes and procedures
• Fork hoist and Reach hoist licenses is a compulsory requirement

The willingness to learn along with a positive attitude is just as important as experience. This role requires someone who can work in the chiller / freezer environment from time to time.
