Food Services Assistant
About the Role
The Food Services Assistant (FSA) role is responsible for assisting the food services team to deliver an efficient food and beverage service to patients, visitors and staff.
This is a permanent role offered at 0.3 FTE or 12 hours per week to be worked 5pm-8pm, Tuesday to Friday.
Specific duties include:
- Taking and delivering meal orders to patients
- Washing dishes in a timely manner
- Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with the cleaning schedule
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of the patient meal tray
- Experience working in a kitchen would be advantageous
- Exceptional time management skills
- Good literacy and communication skills
- Motivated and reliable, with the ability to work unsupervised
- Confident and capable of using computers and software
