Indian Curry & Tandoor Cook X 2

We are looking for two skilled and motivated Indian Curry & Tandoor Cooks to join our busy restaurant in Hamilton. You will be required to prepare and cook all Indian and some Nepali cuisines including Indian curries, Tandoor items and has some knowledge in Nepali food.
Key tasks;- Prepare and cook all types of authentic Indian dishes in tandoor and curry cooking.
- Have operational knowledge of all recipes, standards, portion sizes, and presentation styles of
- Work with the management to meet daily and weekly production levels for the kitchen.
- Maintain stock levels according to the requirements of the business and understand how this can affects on food cost.
- Ensure all the equipment used in kitchen section is in good condition and hygienically cleaned before and after use.
- Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment storage, and work areas.
- Implement and ensure compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety requirements.
- Plan menus with head chef, manager and owner.
- Passion for producing delicious food.
- Great teamwork and a willingness to always learn and improve.
- Min 3 Years' relevant experience working in a busy Indian kitchen.
Wage; $ 25 - $30 per hour, depending on your experience and skills.
Work location ; Hamilton,NZ.
The candidate must hold an NZ work permit or be NZ Citizen/Resident to apply. Must have at- least 3 years experience on relevant field.
