Retail Assistant
OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial-based clients in New Plymouth.
Our client is an essential New Zealand food manufacturing business, with one of their sites based in Eltham, Taranaki. Located on this site is a small store where they sell their product to the public.
Due to their staffing requirements, we are looking for an experience retail assistant to work on a causal basis.
As a retail assistant, you will be the first point of contact for all customers that visit the store. You will be required to handle the eftpos machine and cash sales, stock shelves and fridges, complete stock taking and answering the phone as required.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- To be flexible with work hours as this can vary each week
- To be self-motivated with a high personal work ethic
- Well organized
- Someone who can work unsupervised
- Strong customer service and people skills
Requirements to work for OneStaff:
- ID required; Passport OR NZ Birth Certificate & Driver’s License
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug, Alcohol & medical testing
- CV
- x2 Referees that can be contacted by phone or email
- No Criminal Convictions or current pending charges
