Assistant Coordinator (Healthcare Support Focus)
Looking for a friendly, down-to-earth assistant coordinator to help with finding employers, following up, and assisting people applying for healthcare and support roles. - Who this role suits:
- Someone who enjoys helping others find work opportunities
- Someone confident picking up the phone, asking questions, and following up
- A natural people-person with local knowledge or connections
- Someone happy to get involved, whether that’s making calls, visiting places, or helping applicants with paperwork
- Someone based in Hawke’s Bay who knows the local area and community
- Someone proactive, organised, and willing to do what’s needed to support the process
- Based in Hawke’s Bay or nearby preferred, to help with local coordination, employer visits, and understanding the local work culture. Open to others who can travel locally as needed.
- Work type:
- Casual, contract, flexible hours
- Paid hourly (/$22.50–/$30/hour depending on experience)
This isn’t a caregiving job — it’s a helper role for people looking to find work in healthcare. You’ll play a key part supporting applicants by reaching out to employers, following up, and helping get them through the door.
If you’re practical, friendly, a good communicator, and enjoy helping others succeed, I’d love to hear from you.
