Our client is a well-established and reputable Traffic Management company that takes pride in their work while ensuring the highest level of safety is undertaken on all work sites at all times.
We are currently on the look-out for an experienced STMS to join our Hawkes Bay based crew now. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and smooth flow of Traffic Management systems are in place and working collaboratively within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confidently leading your team by giving clear instructions of job requirements and expectations, team briefings and toolbox talks.
- Contributing and sharing your knowledge in traffic management with your team and mentoring new staff
- Performing labour tasks; i.e. assisting with set up and pack down of traffic management sites
- Maintaining a safe and compliant workplace environment at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience as an STMS
- Current practicing STMS Cat A and B certification
- Full Class 2 Licence (Class 1 may be considered)
- Will need to pass a drug and conviction check
- Must have excellent time management, communication and leadership skills
- Physically fit and capable to work both day and night shift
