About the Role To provide high quality, appropriate mental health assessment,intervention and education to infants, children, youth and their families; ensuring the service user and their family'sneeds are met in a culturally, clinically and legally safe manner.
Thepsychologist functions as part of a multidisciplinary team. About theTeam/Service LocationJoin oursmall, supportive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service team based insunny Kāpiti, where we pride ourselves on working closely with NGOs, schools,and the wider community to make a real difference for tamariki and rangatahi.Kapiti CAMHS utilises the choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) to provideefficient accessible services for tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau.

About you Registration clinical psychologist with current registration in New Zealand.A good sense of humour and a team spirit are definite advantages in this rewarding role.Experience working with children, adolescents, and their whānau in a mental health setting.Strong assessment, risk management, and therapeutic intervention skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and alongside community partners.Willing to work full time.Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
