Senior Chef/ Kitchen Shift Manager - Christchurch
As a full-time role, you will be responsible leading the day to day kitchen operations to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers, exceeding their expectations.
The role; Assisting with the management of the kitchen, and leading the kitchen team including monitoring food control plans and maintaining service standards.Ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently delivered.
Developing innovative and seasonal menus along side Exec Chef.
Adhering to all food safety, hygiene and licensing regulations.
Fostering a positive, productive and collaborative team environment with-in the kitchen.
The role has site and group wide potential growth to move to a Head Chef role for the right applicant.
This is a hands on role, with little to no admin.
What we're looking for; Minimum 2 years' experience in senior role in a high-volume restaurant (or catering company) or similar establishment.Formal culinary training and qualifications, with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
Great leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate the kitchen team.
Passion for creating innovative, high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Ciao is a small, modern, European dining bar focussing on handmade pasta + small plates to share.Kokomo is much bigger space, influenced by global coastal dishes to share.
