Click here to view the position description.Click here to view the position description. About the TeamOur laboratory is an integral part of the wider laboratory services at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato, servicing inpatients, outpatients and community patients.
This part time position will supplement the current laboratory team of 8 staff. The laboratory has up to date technology, and mostly performs analysis of Haematology and Biochemistry samples for hospital and community patients. Lesser amounts of Microbiology and Transfusion Science are also performed on site.
In addition, the laboratory provides a phlebotomy service for hospital and community patients, and oversees Point of Care testing for clinical areas of the hospital. About TaumarunuiLocated in the heart of the North Island, Taumarunui is the perfect base for those who love the outdoors.
