The work is meaningful, fast-paced, and makes a real difference.As a Recruitment Advisor, you'll deliver end-to-end recruitment across custodial environments, working closely with Hiring Managers and candidates.This is a hands-on role with real ownership, where you can influence outcomes and contribute to frontline workforce capability.This role supports Waikeria Prison and Waikato Hub (Auckland Womens Corrections Facility), with some broader regional support as required.

Your focus will be high-volume frontline recruitment, particularly Corrections Officers.You'll lead assessment centres, and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes in a structured, fast-paced environment.

You will take ownership of building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines to meet ongoing and future workforce demands.You'll also support attraction activity across the Waikato region, including events and information sessions (some outside standard hours).You will be supported by a dedicated Candidate Coordinator, enabling you to focus on delivery, stakeholder engagement and recruitment outcomes.What you'll be doingDeliver end-to-end recruitment across volume and specialist rolesPartner with stakeholders on recruitment planning and deliveryLead high-volume assessment centres Ensuring compliance across recruitment processes, and delivered to a high standard, including oversight of police vetting and reference checks.Work within systems, checklists, and audit frameworksDeliver candidate feedback and provide strong candidate careSupport attraction activity and represent Ara Poutama at eventsHe kōrero mōu | About youYou bring professionalism, integrity, and sound judgement.
