Our Tauranga based Joinery is looking for an experienced Joiner/ Cabinet Maker to join our skilled team. We specialise and take pride in manufacturing high-quality residential kitchens, joinery, craftsmanship and reliable service to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities- Confidently use a variety of joinery machinery - CNC, Edge Bander and all joinery tools of the trade.
- Manufacture and assembly of all cabinetry/joinery at a steady and efficient pace.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills for measuring, cutting, to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Work independently on own jobs and Collaborate with other team members to complete projects to a high standard
- Being responsible for accurate onsite measurements and installations.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to all safety requirements.
- Loading and delivering of cabinetry to onsite.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:- Is fully qualified and has at least 5 years proven experience in joinery
- Is physical fit, in good health and capable of heavy lifting
- Has excellent communication and people skills to liaise with Team Members, Management and Clients
- Has an eye for detail, takes pride in their work with a positive Can Do Attitude
- Is a Team Player and works well in a team environment
- Is flexible, can listen effectively and follow instructions from management
- Is reliable, motivated, honest and trustworthy, with good time management skills.
- Holds a current NZ driver’s license
- Has no criminal convictions
- Has the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
- Is respectful to fellow team members, management and able to work with senior management.
